We are currently seeking a dynamic Cleaning Manager to oversee operations at our sites in the Western Cape.

This pivotal role involves maintaining high-quality standards aligned with specific SLAs while managing client relations, performing inspections, and ensuring efficient cleaning and equipment management.


Duties & Responsibilities:

Operations and Service Delivery:

  • Efficiently manage site operations and resources to achieve maximum cleaning output.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality programs, and legislation.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain service standards.
  • Manage company assets and conduct monthly spot checks.
  • Facilitate staff training and development sessions.
  • Maintain unit files and notice boards as per company policies.

Communication:

  • Conduct regular client meetings and respond promptly to requests.
  • Ensure completion of clientspecific records and reports.
  • Effectively communicate company information to staff and management.

Labour Management:

  • Allocate staff to sites and manage daily HR issues.
  • Participate in performance appraisals and disciplinary processes.
  • Ensure adherence to Kallvest rules and regulations.

Health and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
  • Actively manage unit leave liability and leave plans.
  • Monitor debtors collection and capital expenditure.
Understanding of ISO9000 advantageous

General:

  • Maintain high morale and motivation among staff through effective communication.
  • Attend meetings, training sessions, and other initiatives as required.
  • Represent the Kallvest brand professionally at all times.
  • Adhere to statutory/legal requirements and company policies.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong scheduling and staffing skills to meet sitespecific SLAs.
  • Excellent people skills and knowledge of industrial relations.
  • Effective leadership and communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Matric or extensive relevant experience.
  • 5 years of Cleaning Management experience in a similar environment.
  • Strong operations and people management experience.
  • Understanding of cleaning principles and company policies.
