CHEMISTRY TEACHER (FET & SNR) WESTERN CAPE
Our client, an independent school near Noordhoek, WC, needs a Chemistry teacher who can:
(1) teach up to AS/A Level Chemistry (equivalent of Gr 11 and 12 & potentially first year varsity level),

(2) start before the end of March 2024 at the latest.

The
ideal applicant will have Cambridge teaching experience, as well as extensive practical Chemistry experience.

Applicants who
don't have Cambridge experience but who do have Grade 11 and 12 Chemistry teaching experience will be considered, as well as newly qualified teachers with professional Chemistry experience.

It's important that the educator enjoys teaching learners aged 12-18 and has a teaching style that encourages critical thinking and collaborative work.

The school pushes the boundary of education, giving their learners the opportunity to accelerate their educational journey.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • BSc or BEd PGCE (Snr & FET) with specialisation in Chemistry
  • SACE registration and police etc clearance
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • The legal right to work in South Africa
  • The ability to communicate in English at a professional level
