We are searching for an enthusiastic Pig Farm Manager to join our client in Ireland. This is a 2 year contract with the potential of being extended after 2 years.

Qualification

  • Must be a graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Livestock Management, Swine Management and/or other related courses.
  • At least 3 years of handson work experience in a pig or swine farm.

Responsibilities:

  • We prefer applicants who has an experience in all units or sections of the farm especially in Breeding and Farrowing.
  • Have the skills to ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION (AI) pigs
  • Have handled large numbers of sows
  • Have the knowledge and expertise in treating sows and pigs
  • Initiator of good and productive planning and strategies in Pig Farming
  • Knows the Technicalities and KPIs of the Farm (Born Alive rate, Mortality rate, and the like)
  • Must have the knowledge on how a farm (swine) operates.
  • Must be knowledgeable of the Feeding System
  • Can work in a fastphased and automated work environment
  • Knowledgeable about MS Office and other swine database
Salary Package

  • 30,000 Euros to 35,000 Euros gross per year
  • Minimum of 2 years contract but can be extended up to 4 years
  • International (Ireland)
  • Accommodation and work permits will be shouldered by the Employer.

Salary:
R30, R55,000.00 per month
