Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all company standards and laws.
  • Create, revise, and enforce data management policies.
  • Develop techniques that allow for the collection of accurate data.
  • Implement procedures related to the secure and efficient handling and sharing of data.
  • Analyse and interpret large amounts of data.
  • Identify patterns, relationships, and problems in data and statistical sets.
  • Evaluate the performance of data systems and seek ways to enhance them.
  • Determine limitations in data reliability and usability.
  • Extract pertinent data and build detailed reports for upper management.
  • Ensure security from data loss, security breach, and hacking.
  • Troubleshoot and authorize the maintenance of datarelated problems.
  • Support team members in their daytoday duties.
  • Work with management heads to identify process improvements opportunities
  • Acquire data from internal or external data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Work with operation team and management to prioritise information needs.
  • Assist operations team with ad hoc project related queries
  • Setup Monitoring & Evaluation processes and systems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, Information Management or related field.
  • Data Management Skills (Essential)
  • 5 + Years' Experience is Data Analysis

Requirements:

  • Must be a South African Citizen with a South African ID
  • Five or more years' experience, and one or more formal qualifications.
  • Be able to work flexibly
  • Excellent Skills in PowerPoint, word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, Internet etc.)
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
  • Capacity to manage high stress situations
  • Ability to multitask and manage various project elements simultaneously
  • Bigpicture thinking and vision
  • Accuracy and Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Programming languages such as SQL, Python, Microsoft Power BI, etc
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highlevel experience in methodologies and processes for managing large scale databases.
  • Highlevel written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highlevel experience in monitoring & evaluation processes
  • A thorough and proven understanding of data management and administrative policies.
  • Familiar with modern, hightech databases and IT systems.
  • Proficient at digesting, understanding, and analyzing large amounts of data.
  • Attention to detailed statistical information.
  • Solid working knowledge of data security laws and protocols.
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks with multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent at problemsolving under pressure.
  • Confident in making good decisions with given information.
  • Leadership experience with good interpersonal and team skills.
