Job Overview

We are looking for a talented Content Writer, Journalist, and Photographer to be part of our energetic team. The perfect candidate should have a journalism background, excellent English language skills, and the ability to create top-notch content. This individual must be dependable, capable of conducting interviews, and open to occasional travel. Proficiency in photography is crucial for capturing compelling visuals to complement the written material.

Main Responsibilities

  • Produce engaging content for various platforms including email newsletters, our Group Co. magazine, YouTube, and social media videos/captions, product releases, website product descriptions, brochures, pamphlets, and catalogs.
  • Conduct thorough research and interviews to gather information for content creation.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Director to devise content strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Ensure all produced content meets high editorial standards in terms of accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Adjust writing style and tone to suit different audiences and platforms.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to guide content creation.
  • Edit and proofread content for consistency and quality.
  • Capture high-quality photographs as needed to complement written content.

Requirements

  • Degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a journalist, content writer, photographer, or similar role.
  • Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to conduct interviews confidently and professionally.
  • Self-motivated and ambitious.
  • Willingness to travel for interviews, events, and other work-related tasks.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and content management systems.
  • Creativity and flexibility to develop innovative ideas and approaches to content creation.
  • Portfolio demonstrating writing skills, versatility across different formats and platforms, and photography proficiency.
