The purpose of the role is to provide banking administrative support, reconcile various accounts, correct allocation of monies and process EFT's.

Perform banking administrative support, reconcile various accounts and correct allocation of monies.

  • Allocate monies to tenant and property accounts accurately and timeously.
  • Reduce unallocated totals to the minimum and follow up on outstanding amounts daily.
  • Accurately reconcile various accounts daily/weekly/monthly.
  • Allocate monies, reconcile bank account, maintain and report on the debit order system.
  • Keep filing up to date on a daily basis.
  • Relieve colleagues and Tellers and assist on Saturdays (once every 3 months).
  • Check Teller's takings every day.
  • Accurately process EFT's (Transfers, Payment and Collections) on a daily basis
  • Achieve and maintain a good working relationship with customers and team members.

Working conditions:

Mostly Office Based. Limited Travelling will be required.
Assist with Teller Duties when required and one Saturday every second month.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Matric qualification required
  • BCOM Accounting degree or studying towards BCOM accounting qualifications preferred.
  • Sound accounting skills required.
4. 2-4 years' banking/finance experience (focusing on recons) required.

  • Code 08 Driver License required.

Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • Strong administration skills.
  • Good report writing skills.

MS Office:
a. MS Word - Basic
b. MS Excel - Intermediate
c. Outlook - Basic
