Core Description
To oversee and direct the Industrial Solutions and related service offerings within BCX. Oversee scoping, planning, development, deployment and support of innovative Industrial, IoT product sets to meet the evolving market demands. Key Deliverables / Primary Functions

Contribute towards the development of the Industrial, IoT and OT Solutions, standards, processes and procedures, Industrial Solutions strategy and roadmap to ensure the successful implementation of the strategy to achieve business objectives.

Provide thought leadership and embed a culture of innovation through leveraging intellectual property, research and development to support, fund and facilitate strategic innovation projects.

Lead the design, deployment/provision of Industrial, IoT and OT Solutions / product sets aligned to high levels of quality, standards and operability.

Manage the development and implementation of processes and procedures to maintain or recover the delivery of systems and services in the event of any physical, technical or environmental disaster or major outage, providing continuity of service to customer.

Provide technical input into proposals, quotes, tender responses or client discussions in support of the sales process.
Provide technical direction to operational and project teams to deliver high levels of quality, standards and operability.
Manage and/or oversee multiple, large-scale, concurrent projects to successful completion in accordance with scope, budget and service level agreements.
Develop and evolve implementation methodologies for standard and transformational programmes.

Develop new business and operating models that take advantage of new domains, functional, technology and information assets within the Industrial, IoT and OT space.

Manage the identification and mitigation of operational and strategic risk within Industrial Solutions.

Develop and manage the annual budget and forecasts within strategic guidelines, directing and coordinating activities to achieve revenue and cost containment targets.

Promote and facilitate optimum engagement between BCX Divisions and establish and enhance relationships and networks with strategic partners, internal stakeholders, customers and vendors to create market dominance.

Build and maintain a highly engaged team staffed with top talent.

Attract, develops and retain top level talent that inspires the trust and confidence of our clients and in turn becomes the reason why clients want to work with BCX.

Decision Making Qualifications A Degree (NQF7) or Diploma (NQF6) in Business/ Commerce or IT/Engineering OR NQF 4 (Grade 12) Experience

7 years' experience in Industrial, (MES, IIT, OT, Automation, IoT) solutions, preferably within a large and highly complex ICT organisation, of which 2 years is at a management level.

Alternatively, 9 years in the Industrial Solutions, of which 3 years is at a management level.
