Training and Education:

Conduct training sessions for restaurant managers and staff, focusing on day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

  • Train managers on opening and closing procedures, emphasizing efficiency and consistency.
  • Provide GAAP Back Office Training and Administration, ensuring accurate financial processes are followed.
  • Educate managers and staff on stock management, including inventory control and ordering practices.
  • Train managers to optimize labour costs while maintaining service quality.
  • Foster an understanding of profit margins and financial impact.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene:
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Train staff on proper hygiene protocols, including handling, storage, and sanitation.

Opening Support:

  • Play a crucial role in opening new restaurants within our brand.
  • Provide training and support during the launch phase.
  • Collaborate with management teams to ensure a successful opening.

Observation and Reporting (OSR):

  • Travel to different provinces within South Africa to observe restaurant operations.
  • Support teams onsite and provide constructive feedback.
  • Compile detailed reports on performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a support role within the industry is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in restaurant management or related roles.
  • Proven experience intraining and development within the food service industry.

Skills and Qualities:

  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations and financial processes.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify areas for improvement.
  • Willingness to travel and work across different provinces.
