Associate Professor in Taxation

DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING
Rhodes University is seeking qualified individuals to join the dynamic Taxation Team within the Department of Accounting.

Requirements:

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR:

  • Professional background in Taxation.
  • Extensive teaching experience in Taxation, both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels within a SAICA accredited program.
  • Supervision of Master's and/or PhD students is essential.
  • Developing national recognition in the field.
  • Demonstrated track record in administration, management, and/or leadership.

According to Immigration Legislation (Act No.

13 of 2002 & Regulations), international candidates (non-South African citizens) must adhere to the Act's provisions.

Therefore, the employment period for non-South African citizens will be determined by the validity of their work permit.
