The Role:

IT Chief Security Officer

As IT Chief Security Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the secure and reliable operation of our ISP infrastructure and ancillary services. You will be at the forefront of safeguarding the networks, systems, and data against evolving cyber threats.

This is a new position within the organization, created to meet the growing demands of our customer base and to fortify our commitment to providing a safe online environment.


  • As a seniorlevel manager, you will be part of the Exco Team and responsible for establishing and maintaining an organisation's information security program. The CISO's primary role is to safeguard the organisation's sensitive data, systems, and networks from internal and external threats. Overall the CISO plays a critical role in safeguarding our information assets and ensuring business continuity. This role will implement, manage and monitor the security strategy and measures to protect information assets. The CISO works closely with senior management, IT teams, legal and compliance, and external partners to ensure a coordinated approach to security across the business.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive experience in information security, with a strong background in managing and implementing security programs
  • Indepth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practice
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information
  • Systems Security Professional) or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) as well as other relevant IT Security related certifications.
  • Bachelor's degree (ideal) plus 8 years of ISP/Telco operations or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
