ABOUT THE JOB

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Scout for new voice artists in the Cape town area.
  • Update, upgrade and further expand our artist database
  • Cast and manage new artists for our upcoming productions this year
  • Coordinate and ensure that all artist contracts are signed and filed
  • Manage performance and relationships of Artists
  • Oversee the availability and negotiate times with the Artists
  • Oversee the booking of Artists/Actors for recording sessions
  • Coordinate training and accent development for new artists.
  • Maintain communication with the Artist and Operations Manager and team to ensure production deadlines are met
  • Coordinate auditions
  • Coordinate audition rejections and feedback
  • Weekly/Monthly capturing and reconciling of Artist purchase orders and dealing with any related queries
  • Ensure departmental plans are developed, standards and performance targets are set and monitored
  • POPIA Compliance documents are completed and in line with the Labour Relations act

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Atleast 3 years working experience within Artist/Acting community e.g. booking, casting, scheduling
  • Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Film and Media
  • Preferably, you will have come from an environment where you have had exposure to setting up or updating systems and processes.
  • Background in the media industry e.g. TV, film, broadcasting, elearning or post production.

SPECIFIC SKILLS

  • Artist/Actor management
  • Building a database of actors
  • Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Post-Production processes
  • English, Afrikaans and/or multiple language comprehension
  • Driver's license (offices based in Airport City, Cape Town)
  • Contributing to and executing strategy
  • Planning and project management
  • Implementation of systems and processes
  • Budget management and forecasting

Job Type:6 month contract (with possibility of permanent placement)

Dependent on experience/ market related
