Job Description:

Position Purpose


Reporting to the Manager - Customer Support and Administration, the purpose of this position is to organise and manage the CCT Function across the various Service Lines (FMCG, Auto, Retail & Agric) as well the Wholesale & TEMS sites by ensuring that support activities to customers are adhered to in accordance with prescribed procedures and standards.


To provide support to clients to ensure the integrity of the CHEP pooling system, client queries and control system issues are attended to quickly and effectively, ensuring the perception of value for money and customer care is entrenched in minds of our clients.

To support the business ito the GTM Campaign and the Wholesale Expansion Programme.


Key Accountabilities- Authorisation of TCRF in accordance with current business rules and practices- Scheduling and allocating Cases ensuring timeous management to logical conclusion/ completion on Siebel- Scheduling and management of Online visits/Service Calls & other tasks conducted by staff, ensuring quality standard and adherence to business requirements- Audit of cases to ensure compliance and adherence to business SOP's- Management of Suspended Movements- Manage the TEMS & Wholesale sites irt requirements from the business and customers- Weekly site visits (minimum) to TEMS/Wholesale management and staff based away from the office- Onsite visits to customers to manage the account proactively and resolve problematic issues as well as to build and maintain strong relationships- Manage the Wholesale & TEMS sites irt expansion- Responsible for the planning, organising and implementation of the roll out plan- Monitoring the wholesale KPI closely & investigating/escalating variances to the business.- Internal & External monthly management reports.- Online portfolio plus/myCHEP system.

Ensure TEMS are fully trained to perform telephonic service as well as the management of portfolio queries, including reconciliation management in line with CHEP requirements- Working closely with the Wholesale & Business teams to ensure all deliverables are met- Conduct regular meetings to manage communication processes within team- Conduct regular business meetings (BM's/CRM's) to manage the expectations of the business- Motivate and train staff to ensure that staff is fully equipped with the necessary skills and training to achieve their personal objectives.- Responsible for the HR administrative functions relating to direct reports ( i.e.

leave, sick leave etc).

The keeping of accurate staff records for employment and controlling the implementation of all company policies and procedures concerning all staff.- Annual PDP process - conduct the monthly 1 on 1 sessions to discuss performance with each staff member and insert milestone to achieve the annual result.- Identifying development and training needs as well as providing feedback on performance.- When necessary and in conjunction with management, assist in recruiting of staff to ensure the team are staffed with appropriately qualified and experienced employees.

- Participate and management of personal and team projects- Monitor and manage staff adherence to Zero harm and the Brambles code of conduct- Management of the National helplines (if applicable)- Management and development of the team leaders- Assist management with any other adhoc requests

Key Requirements- Matric- Business related Degree or studying towards a qualification- People Management Skills/Supervisory Skills- Supervisory/Management certificates advantageous- Manual Drivers Licence- Be wiling to travel- 2 years supervisory experience in an admin, accounts and helpline/ call centre environment- 4 years general working experience in the Beverage Industry


Skills and Knowledge- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written to people at all levels internally and externally- Individuals who are systematic, accurate, patient, non-aggressive, service orientated will be best suited to this position.

- People management and supervisory skills essential- Proficiency in Word Excel, SAP, Siebel and Portfolio
