As an account manager, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing business clients.

The Account Manager is responsible for delivering accurate and timely creative work while ensuring commercial success for both the client and the agency.

This role is ideal for someone who is motivated and talented in building strong client relationships with key clients.
Job responsibilities;
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships while ensuring a rigorous client management and workflow system.
Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
Serve as the lead point of contact for any and all customer account matters.

This includes identifying advertising requirements, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals, drawing up cost estimates/invoicing, controlling costs, admin, etc.

Ensure a constant and effective flow of communication between the agency, the client, and suppliers.
Manage campaigns from concept to roll-out and reporting.

Have a good understanding of TTL campaigns and the digital marketing landscape, and maintain an active knowledge of the industry and world trends for proactive client advice.

Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits.
Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
Collaborate with a new business development team to identify and grow opportunities within the industry.
Participate and assist with new business pitches.
Plan and conduct desktop and field market research.
Develop an understanding of marketing strategies and tactics that will be appropriate and effective for your clients.
Get involved in brand planning workshops.
Champion and demonstrate a passion for the agency's creative output.
Preparing briefs for the production team (internal) + media partners (external).
Demonstrate organisational and time management skills to effectively manage work requirements.
Ensure that contact reports/status reports are produced in a timely and efficient manner.
Create case studies for past campaigns.
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
Prepare reports on account status.
Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to the client.
Have oversight on content published by community managers.

Requirements:

Related marketing qualification and/or minimum five years as an experienced account manager in the FMCG, B2B, B2C, and TTL space
Excellent organisational, verbal, and written communication skills
Business acumen
Commercial abilities and entrepreneurial mindset
Financial skills
Agility
Excellent negotiation skills
