Role
overview/purpose
The Client Engagement and Data Specialist (KAM) is responsible for managing and building strong relationships with key clients. They will be the lead point of contact for all key client matters and will be responsible for diagnosing and understanding the clients/publishers business problems and then scoping creative data solutions to meet

the needs of the client from existing or new tools.

The key account manager will also bring in new business from existing clients or contacts (Organic growth) and will develop new relationships with potential clients.


Qualification
and Experience

  • Tertiary Qualification required (BCom or BSc or similar degree preferred)
  • Welldeveloped core skills of research, analysis, presentation and attention to detail
  • Must have experience working with data, key account management and digital media/publishing/direct marketing
  • Three yearsexperience within a similar role

Key
Responsibilities

  • Proposal and Presentation development
  • Responsible for managing the relationship with key clients
  • Diagnose and understand the clients business problems and identify keys to success for client that we can solve
  • Define the problem concisely and hypothesise and scope the proposed solution
  • Consolidate the findings from the analysis and present solutions to the client
  • Understand current business offerings to be able to map to client needs
  • Inform and advise on product development opportunities for the industry
  • Develop and present a plan to implement the recommended solution
  • Translate the requirements into a business spec to be briefed into the data team.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Develop a solid and trusting relationship between key clients and company
  • Resolving key client issues and complaints
  • Develop a complete understanding of key account needs
  • Anticipating key account changes and improvements
  • Managing communications between key clients and internal teams
  • Managing internal account team assigned to each client
  • Strategic planning to improve client results
  • Support negotiating contracts with the client and establishing a timeline of performance
  • Establishing and overseeing internal budgets with the company and external budgets with the client
  • Collaborating with the business development team to maximize profit by upselling or crossselling
  • Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or training
  • Meet all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
  • Analyse client data to provide customer relationship management
