Business Analyst / Project Manager
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the banking sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis and project management within a banking environment, and be proficient in working in Java-based environment. Certification as a Business Analyst or Project Manager is required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Analysis:
    • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
    • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the development team.
    • Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to meet business needs.
    • Create process models, data flow diagrams, and functional specifications.
  • Project Management:
    • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
    • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate and lead project meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of progress and issues.
    • Manage project risks, issues, and changes, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical development team.
    • Facilitate communication and ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
    • Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and project documentation to stakeholders and management.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Define and implement testing strategies to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
    • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and address any issues identified.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience as a Business Analyst and Project Manager in the banking sector.
    • Strong understanding of banking processes, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Experience working in a Java environment, with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques.
    • Strong project management skills, including experience with project management software.
    • Understanding of Java-based systems and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Certifications:
    • Certification as a Business Analyst (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Project Manager (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional Experience:
    • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
    • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
