Business Need/Purpose of Role:


An exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator reporting into the Regional Payroll Manager to accurately and timeously complete and submit payroll and Workday documentation, loading of employees onto payroll and reconciling of payroll and Workday reports.

The successful incumbent will be required to resolve queries, adhere to deadlines and keeping within stipulated time frames.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Relevant tertiary qualification


Computer Literate
  • MS Office Suite with Excel proficiency on advance level

Minimum Experience:

  • 5 8 years payroll reconciliation experience and the management of critical payroll and HR reports
  • Workday experience
  • Sage VIP experience

  • Payroll Payment Accuracy: Measure percentage of accurate payroll calculations and payments.
  • Projects on Time, Scope & Budget (Payroll Initiatives): Efficiently manage payrollrelated projects within specified time, scope, and budget.
  • Compliance with System Controls (Payroll Processes): Adherence to system controls to mitigate risks and ensures data integrity (e.g., data security, access controls).
  • Processes Automated / Systemized (Payroll Processes): Enhance efficiencies and reduce errors.
  • Performance Excellence Effective partnership with Weir Business Services and adherence to turnaround times
