Admin. Assistant – Tourism Industry

Claremont – Cape Town – Office based.

R20 000 Plus commission.

Travel consultants for Southern & East Africa. A dedicated team of travel professionals with over 25 years' experience in highly specialised and seriously service driven itinerary planning.

Opportunity to join our travel team providing journeys with imagination throughout Southern and East Africa.

CRITERIA:

Matric + relevant admin./PA/Secretarial qualification

3-5 years exp. as an Administrator, PA, Secretary in the Travel/Tourism sector Ideally.

Exp. on MS Office, Word, Excel, and Tour Plan WETU.

Attention to detail, driven, energetic with excellent communication skills and able to join a vibrant, dynamic team.

KPI's – Responsibilities:


•Prepare detailed itineraries designed by the consultant.


•Check availability with suppliers.


•Reconcile invoices from suppliers and make sure they match the Tour Plan costing.


•Load supplier invoices


•Prepare travel docs in WETU: Welcome letters with all necessary regulations and visa requirements with contact details, timing schedule and reservation numbers.


•Maintain consultants "client travel board" (daily arrival and departures for clients per month)


•Book guides, activities, transport, car hire and flights


•Communicate clients travel requirements with suppliers i.e., dietary requirements, disabilities.


•Communicate transport logistics to lodges.


•Double check and reconfirm all logistics and bookings just before clients are set to arrive.


•Assist other Assistants should you have the time and capacity.
