PART-TIME RETAIL ASSISTANT & ADMIN SUPPORT

PERSONAL SKILL REQUIRED FOR JOB:

  • Previous Retail and Admin experience
  • A friendly and engaging personality
  • A great team player
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Power Point, Excel
  • Very good administrative and organisational skills
  • Methodical and thorough approach to work
  • Strong communication skills in English and one other South African language
  • Flexibility to work Saturdays and public holidays
  • Non smoker
  • Driving Licence preferable

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate POS
  • Greet and assist customers with a friendly attitude
  • Provide detailed information about our products
  • Maintain an organized and appealing store
  • Process sales transactions accurately
  • Assist with inventory management
  • Assist office manager with orders and admin
  • Ordering and maintaining stationery and equipment
  • Sorting, packing and distributing incoming stock from suppliers
  • Prepare parcels for dispatch
  • Answer telephone
  • Assist with WhatsApp orders

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Grade 12/Matric-Essential
  • Previous retail and admin experience preferable
  • Computer Literacy essential (Excel, Word)

WORKING HOURS
Minimum 3 days per week 8.30am - 5pm incl. Saturdays 9.00am - 1.00pm

This job could turn into a full-time position.

SALARY depending on experience
