We are a Music and Audio Production House in the hub of Cape Town seeking a Junior Production Manager/Producer to join our team of creatives.

As a Junior Production Manager/Producer, you will be working alongside our Head of Production assisting and learning the following, but certainly not limited to:

  • Managing front of house and studio operations, ensuring that all duties are carried out to the highest standards.?
  • Handling jobs and associated operational tasks to ensure customer satisfaction. Building strong relationships with clients and supporting their success through your work.

Financial Management:

  • Preparation and presentation of quotes/budgets to clients
  • Liaising with our accountant
  • Presenting Invoices and Statements to clients
  • Ensuring timely payment of external and job expenses

Operations management:

  • Tracking job data such as incoming jobs, cost to company hours, income, expenses, etc.
  • Tracking job leads, quotations presented, active jobs, etc.

Production and account management:

  • Managing and supporting the team as needed
  • Managing client relationships and accounts
  • Understanding job requirements and defining the job organization, schedules, and plans to ensure successful delivery
  • Ensuring clients provide all necessary information for the job
  • Briefing the team and documenting briefing notes
  • Managing external suppliers, including handling Service Agreements, Invoices, etc.
  • Conducting research for marketing, jobs, business, external musicians, etc.
  • Communicating with and motivating the team

Criteria:

Matric Certificate - Tertiary Education
Education in Production or a similar field
Computer knowledge and experience, including Google Workspace, Excel and Word

Bonus Criteria:

Experience in the advertising industry, creative industry, media and film production industry, or similar.
