Desired minimum educational and work experience needed to be considered for the position:
Grade 12 Certificate with Mathematics and/or Science.

Code EB Driver's licence.

HUET (Helicopter Under Water Escape Training) Preferable not essential

IFIA (International Federation of Inspection Agencies) Certified (Preferable)


Minimum of 5-8 years hands on Marine experience, with minimum + 5 years work experience on Crude Oil, Petroleum, Chemical, LPG and Agri vessels.


Sound and up to date knowledge of surveying products and related factors regarding quality and quantity associated with the transportation and carriage of liquid products.


Personal requirements necessary:

Be able to work under pressure

Be able to work independently

Good communication skills, verbal and written in English, to an executive level.

Be professional and ethical at all times

Ability to check information for correctness / accuracy after capturing

Own reliable roadworthy transportation

Show discretion when dealing with confidential information

Be professional and ethical at all times

Be prepared to work away from home

Be prepared to work extended hours

Be prepared to undergo training in his/own time

Ability to lead and control subordinates.
