You will perform a wide variety of functions related to the daily performance of contracted fire equipment services. Minimum of - 4 years' experience is required.You will be responsible for the following:
Communication with the customer, planning and scheduling the services to be performed, and working alongside general administration staff to complete tasks
The manager is also responsible for Workshop oversite, safety training, equipment maintenance, overtime payroll reporting, completion of all services, gross profit margins, and reporting progress to the General Manager
Additional service may be required upon request of the General Manager or Branch Manager
Responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial, industrial & government Fire equipment maintenance accounts for regular maintenance and new installations & responsible for field quality control
Assists in training and advancement of crew members and leaders
Accurately and consistently complete all required paperwork
Leadership skills with ability to manage all employees under your supervision
Work with limited direct supervision
Administrative paperwork and organizational skills
Communication skills to interact with customers as necessary
Forecast labour, materials and equipment needs
Adhere to and enforce all company policies, standards, and safety guidelines
Work with other employees as a team
Meet or exceed company production rates set forth i.e. achieve Monthly T/O
Identify and correct all unsafe conditions and practices and communicate actions to management and/or owners
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work in and around various settings including direct contact with various materials and exposure to various dust, noise, and weather conditions
Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 25kgs occasionally
Education:
Matric
Minimum of - 4 years' experience from the fire industry
Computer Literate:
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Skills:
Fully bilingual -English and Afrikaans with good communication and interpersonal skills
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Deadline orientated and time management
Self-motivated and results driven
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work under pressure

R20 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month
