Recently announced funding by Climate Fund Managers will enable our dynamic, young team in its ambition to power and electrify Africa.

We are present in several countries in Africa and in the Americas, and are headquartered in Oslo, Norway.

Main purpose of position
Currently we are looking for a

Project and Asset Lead Planner to be based in Oslo, Norway or Cape Town, South Africa and be part of our global team. As our Project and Asset Lead Planner, you will Support the functions of Business Development, Procurement and Logistics, Project Management and Site Management across all Release workstreams, managing and controlling planning activities related to Release portfolio of projects in development or delivery, and all assets in operation. You will also be responsible to secure that planning, monitoring and reporting routines and systems are developed, and implemented into the business and the projects in accordance to Release standards and project specific requirements.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop high level timelines for opportunities and projects in Business Development phase including lead times for asset deployment
  • Monitor delivery lead times across the whole Release supply chain; procurement activities for components and assembly work by partners and vendors
  • Develop and maintain the planning and resourcing portion of Release Project Execution Model
  • Establish and maintain planning and reporting tools for each Release project
  • Establish and maintain Release asset inventory planning with completion and termination milestones for each leased out asset, with focus availability of used assets for redeployment
  • Establish and maintain project and portfolio reporting

Qualifications and competencies

  • Degree in Administration or Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, desirable
  • Project Management Education, specialization in renewable power plants
  • 8+ years of project planning and scheduling experience of controlling large scale construction projects, desirable site planning experience
  • Fluent both written and spoken in English; French is an advantage
  • Planning Tools Specialist (Primavera, MS Projects, MS Office) including advanced and practical knowledge of Project Planning, Project Management and Document Management.
  • Ability to lead and guide the project teams by providing relevant and on time information for decision making.
  • Independent and selfdependent working
