We are currently seeking a Payroll Manager to join our team on a 5-month contract basis, starting from
1 August 2023 to 31 December 2023, in Stellenbosch.


Relevant Payroll Qualification:

  • A minimum of 5 years of outsourcing payroll experience using SAGE VIP and Simple Pay.
  • Proficiency in administering and managing the full payroll function, including salaries, leave, and benefits.
  • Experience in provident fund administration for leading insurance companies and medical aid funds administration.
  • Familiarity with salary payments on Netcash for prominent banks in South Africa.
Thorough knowledge of the BCEA, EE, SDLA, Income Tax Act, COIDA, and other relevant legislation.

Required Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge and skills in Income Tax, VAT, PAYE, and other SARS regulations.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel and strong computer literacy.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problemsolving abilities.
  • Adaptability to a challenging work environment and willingness to accommodate demanding client requests.
  • Ability to foster teamwork by sharing knowledge with others.
  • Strong attention to detail, administrative skills, and a systematic approach.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in both Afrikaans and English is advantageous.
  • Ability to handle large amounts of information under tight deadlines.

  • Willingness to go the extra mile, including working long and irregular hours.
We offer a market-related compensation package based on your skill set and relevant years of experience.
