Our client, a busy steel and hardware retail shop requires an experienced cashier to join their team.

Minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12 / equivalent
  • 2 or more years' experience as a cashier for a steel or hardware company is essential.
  • Computer literate / Syspro would be advantageous.
  • Have reliable transport.
  • A nonsmoker
  • Must be able to work retail hours, including Saturdays and public holidays.
  • Have a stable work record and contactable references.
  • Able to commence employment immediately.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to process debit and credit card transactions.
  • Able to process a credit note.
  • General filing and administrative duties.
