Job Description Travel Desk Executive**As a Travel Desk Executive, you'll curate personalized itineraries that seamlessly integrate the Mantis portfolio with client preferences. Your strategic partnerships with suppliers and hotels will expand the reach of our services, while your adept management of systems ensures efficient operations. Through effective communication and adaptability, you'll cater to the discerning needs of upscale clientele, showcasing challenging destinations with finesse.

Key Responsibilities:

Engagement and Customization: Proactively integrate the Mantis portfolio into custom-designed itineraries that align with client preferences and travel goals.

Development and Support: Cultivate partnerships with suppliers, hotels, and tour operators, expanding the reach of our travel desk within our properties to provide comprehensive support and customer service.

Marketing and Client Segmentation: Strategically market challenging destinations as enticing travel opportunities, catering to the discerning needs of upscale and luxury clientele.

Qualifications
-
Education: A relevant degree in the hospitality industry or a similar field is required.
-
Professional Experience: Experience in international inbound travel to Africa is essential.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, reservation systems such as Accor Reservations and Global Distribution Systems (GDS), as well as familiarity with marketing tools like WETU, Travelogic, and Smartbox.

Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in French, German, Spanish, or Russian is advantageous.

About Mantis Collection:

Mantis is a boutique hospitality group that was founded by conservationist Adrian Gardiner in 2000, with its main focus predominantly in Africa and the Middle East.

Mantis grew from Adrian's vision to restore and rewild degraded farmland which he developed into a widely-acclaimed Private Game Reserve.

This was the first private game reserve in the Eastern Cape and the beginning of eco-tourism in a poverty-stricken province that had few opportunities outside of commercial farming.
