Job Purpose:


As the Environmental Health and Safety Clerk/Officer, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Environmental Health and Safety Manager and assisting with the implementation and management of health, safety, and environmental programs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain health, safety, and environmental records and documentation.
  • Coordinate training and education programs for employees on health, safety, and environmental matters.
  • Assist in conducting inspections, audits, and investigations to identify and mitigate health, safety, and environmental risks.
  • Support the Environmental Health and Safety Manager in liaising with regulatory agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators related to health, safety, and environmental performance.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

  • Degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Previous experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Salary:
Negotiable, commensurate with experience.
