Job Description:

As our next
Technical Specialist, you'll be our go-to for design, execution and governance of our Disaster Recovery Strategy.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for critical infrastructure systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities in the infrastructure.
  • Design and implement backup and recovery solutions for infrastructure components.
  • Test and validate disaster recovery plans to ensure they are effective and efficient. Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment and compliance with disaster recovery procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze infrastructure performance to identify areas for improvement. Provide technical guidance and support during disaster recovery incidents.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to disaster recovery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in infrastructure disaster recovery planning and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of disaster recovery principles, methodologies, and technologies.
  • Proficiency in backup and recovery solutions, such as data replication, snapshots, and tape backups.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloudbased infrastructure.
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or Certified Disaster Recovery Engineer (CDRE), are a plus.
