Job Description:


Our client is looking for a Senior Specialist Reporting to interpret financial information for accurate and effective business decision making purposes.

Broadly, this role combines accounting, finance and management with the leading-edge techniques needed to drive successful businesses.

Key Skills:

  • Attention to detail and the ability to work logically, consistently, and accurately.
  • Excellent numeracy skills combined with an inquiring, analytical mind.
  • Good working knowledge of accounting information, while keeping up to date with changing financial rules and regulations.
  • Ability to discuss financial issues with both fellow professionals and those with little or no financial background.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leading knowledge and understanding of practical impact of all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements pertaining to financial reporting.
  • Good strategic thinking skills and the ability to drive results to ensure alignment between the region's strategy, client expectations, and cost efficiencies.
  • Effective financial analysis skills to interpret financial data and make informed decisions based on the information at hand.
  • Advanced organisational, project management and time management skills.
  • Proven management and social influence skills resulting in high employee engagement levels and an improved performance culture for the region.
  • Exceptional communication skills that ensures that information (verbal and written) is conveyed clearly and concisely.

Qulififcations:

  • B Com. Accounting (Hons/CTA) or equivalent degree with articles at an auditing firm
  • Higher Degree (e.g. MBA) and relevant course work such as corporate finance, accounting, economics, business law and business communication will be advantageous.
