The main purpose of the job is to administer all claim assessments, assessor appointments, corresponding with brokers and service providers and attending to claim documentation.

It further involves building relationships with brokers by responding to queries and other outstanding matters and saving of claim correspondence.

Accurate registration of new claimsClaim assessment within the parameters of the wordingsPrepare matters for presentation at Claims CommitteeCorrespondence with brokers, assessors etc.

Adherence to company SLAsAccurate reservingAttend to all queriesMaintenance / administration of schemesCorrespondence:
hard copies & e-mailDiary management and follow up
MatricLegal and/or Business degree (or studying towards) would be an advantageMinimum 2 Years Engineering Insurance Claims Experience will be an advantageRE5 Qualification will be an advantage

Microsoft Office - proficiency in Word, Excel PowerPoint and Microsoft OutlookPersonal QualitiesAccuracyTeam playerExcellent communication skills, verbal and written
