As we continue to grow, We are currently seeking a professional and experienced Dealership Area Manager based in the Pretoria region to join our dynamic and growing organization.


Position Overview:

The Dealership Area Manager at Pineapple Tech PTY LTD is responsible for cultivating and managing strategic partnerships with dealerships, overseeing the onboarding of new alliances, and optimizing lead generation processes.

Their role involves setting realistic sales targets, monitoring performance metrics, and providing daily support to dealership partners.

By fostering relationships at all levels within dealerships and ensuring seamless operations, the manager contributes to Pineapple Tech's goal of expanding its short-term insurance business within the dynamic insure tech industry.


KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
General duties and responsibilities of a Dealership Area Manager at Pineapple include but not limited to :

Onboarding and Maintaining Partnerships:

  • Focus on establishing and nurturing partnerships within the dealership channel.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new partnerships.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Compile, monitor, and manage performance reports, figures, and productivity of dealership partners.
  • Regularly review the performance of lead generating partnerships.

Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key lead generating providers.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain relations at various strategic levels within dealerships (e.
g., Finance and Insurance Manager, Key Individual, Sales Manager, Dealer Principal/Owner).

Appointment of Dealership Partners:

  • Identify and appoint effective, reliable, and productive dealership partners that generate continuous motor insurance leads.

Setting Targets:

  • Set sales targets and timeframes as realistic and attainable objectives for dealership partners.

Lead Management:

  • Follow up on lead feedback to improve and optimize lead generation strategies.

Daily Support:

  • Provide daily support to dealership partners to ensure they meet and deliver on customer service expectations.

Visitation Targets:

  • Meet weekly dealership visitation targets as set out with existing and new dealership partners.
  • Build relationships with Finance and Insurance Managers and Dealership Principals during these visits.

Business Representation:

  • Conduct business on behalf of Pineapple when required, representing the company in a professional manner.

Optimization and Innovation:

  • Work on the optimization and innovation of processes across the business to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Marketing and or Sales , Customer Service, or related field.
  • Regulatory Examination , FAIS Full Qualification(NQF), COB.
  • Proven experience in sales, partnership management, or a similar role within the automotive or insurance industries.
  • Experience in managing multiple dealership accounts or partnerships is highly desirable.
-Familiarity with the automotive sales environment and understanding of dealership dynamics.

  • Strong competence in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for report generation and data management.
