  • Develop and implement production schedules and workflows to optimise productivity and minimise downtime
  • Monitor and control production costs, utilising resources effectively to achieve production targets
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery
  • Lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
  • Implement and enforce safety and quality protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure uninterrupted production
  • Analyse production data and generate reports to track performance, identify trends, and make datadriven decisions
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements, recommending and implementing relevant improvements to enhance production capabilities

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Production Manager in the FMCG industry, with the minimum years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of FMCG manufacturing processes, including packaging, labeling, and quality control
  • Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using production management software and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality standards
