The job description is as follows:

  • Leading functional team in line with departmental objectives and corporate direction
  • Setting departmental targets for cascading down through the production levels in line with company targets
  • Efficient utilisation of resources
  • Adhere to the company communication system and ensure that the same information is passed through the organisation.
  • Ensure that the department does a training needs assessment and that the employees receive adequate training and development through the annual company training and development plan. Ensure that this is measured on a monthly basis
  • Multifunctional responsibility for departmental performance and results
  • Involvement and participation in overall business objectives and strategies
  • Maintain records related to the Production Dept process flow of the company.
  • Ensure that targets are met or appropriate proactive communication to Managing Director where targets will not be met
  • Make the necessary proposals and justifications regarding the departmental performance
The Production team consists of 2 shifts. Comprising of a Team Leader, Setter and Operators
**Qualifications

QualificationsQualifications***- Engineering or Production Degree or Diploma or an equivalent
years experience in a Automotive manufacturing environment
