A sports club in Paarden Eiland is looking for a Sports Club Manager to join us as soon as possible.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum 2 years experience in a gym / sports club environment
  • Padel and/or Tennis knowledge would be advantageous

MUST HAVE:

  • Management experience
  • Sales/Marketing (social media marketing)
  • POS system knowledge
  • Strong admin experience
  • Some Finance background
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) skills and experience
  • Own reliable transport

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary function - To maximize the club's profitability and overall Operational efficiencies

  • Managing the facility and a small staff compliment
  • Planning, coordinating and hosting facility events
  • Resolving client enquiries / complaints / escalations professionally and timeously face to face, telephonically and electronically
  • Ordering of stock, stock taking and recons
  • Planning and Organising facility events
  • Sales and Marketing of and for the Facility
  • All front desk admin procedures
  • Innovate and enhance Facility growth
  • Achieve set targets and budgets
  • Maintain and sustain set out standards
  • Must be prepared to work Saturday morning, Public Holidays and on standby

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Very strong professional communications skills
  • Professional and client centric
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and networking skills
  • Consistently demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to consistently demonstrate problem solving and decisionmaking
  • Very good knowledge and use of social media platforms

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Matric

Sports, Admin, Management qualification would be advantageous
