Purpose


The Business Analytics & KPIs Specialist is responsible for taking the data that Organon holds and mining it to achieve valuable insights, which are used to inform critical business decisions and shape the company's future and the way it operates.

The Business Analytics & KPIs Specialist will utilise internal and external data sources to achieve the key deliverables, including key metrics and KPI's to measure performance against target and against the market.

The individual will also partner with key stakeholders to deliver actionable visualized analysis, to the right people, at the right time, to enable the business to make the right decisions.


Primary Responsibility

  • Engage all business stakeholders to assess their business intelligence and analytics needs, and develop a program to address the needs.
  • Proactively provide factbased insights and analytics to address strategic and tactical business needs.
  • Utilize secondary research methods and industry resources to provide business intelligence.
  • Upgrade and maintain existing BI platform based on business need and cooperate with IT and vendors to deliver KPI metrics and metrics analysis including static slides and spreadsheets as well as interactive, live dashboards using an array of tools, e.g., Spotfire, Qlik, Power BI etc.
  • Assesses market strategies by analyzing related products, markets, or trends Provide reliable and accurate reports, analyses and recommendations to business leaders to support decision making on company strategies and present to and advise senior management on strategic decisions when required.
  • Ensure data is well maintained, stored and organized, enabling business stakeholders to leverage data efficiently and accurately in a timely manner.
  • Ensure a single view of the business.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand, improve and monitor the data collection.
  • Understand complex data and finding data patterns in different sources.
  • Create solid statistical predictive models and innovative visualizations.
  • Ensure the use cases are in line with business objective and priority.
  • Ensure use cases are operated in time and communicated professionally.
  • Be able to communicate about highly complex data topics in easy and understandable ways.
  • Support data modelling and sourcing data.
  • Roll out a data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality through standards, governance metrics, processes, related tools and data architecture.
  • Understanding customer engagement strategy and define KPI measurement to track the business impact.
  • Integrate with complex data sets and combine data from multiple sources to investigate useful business insight.
  • Coordinate with vendor and IT team to offer a qualified customer engagement dashboard.
  • Develop reporting, toolkits, and dashboards for Marketing, Sales, Commercial Learning teams to optimize campaign plans across digital and offline channels.
  • Collect feedback from Marketing, Sales, Commercial Learning teams to define new data analytics requirements.
  • Lead user acceptance testing, to ensure a good user experience.
  • Regular review digital campaign performance and business insights with MCM team, assist to improve digital campaign plan.
  • Maintains current knowledge of industry and business trends through communication with professional organizations, suppliers, customers, competitors, and other informed individuals.
  • Summarizes financial and economic data reports for review by executives, managers, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Develop methodologies to improve data analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies with technology solution.
  • Develop and manage BI solutions.
  • Identify development needs in order to improve and streamline operations.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Honours degree in business, marketing, statistics, mathematics, or related field is required.
