Job Description- Inspect and certify the perishable products.

  • Inspect the handling, storage and transportation of perishable products.
  • Perform administrative tasks.
  • Build and maintain good relations with internal and external clients.
  • Communication with various clients on own specific tasks and outcome of decisions.


 Job Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in an agriculture or food science qualification.
  • National Certificate: Perishable Products Export Technology would be advantageous.
  • Practical experience of products inspected in the relevant region would be advantageous i.e. Citrus, macadamias, avocados, minor products and container loading (equivalent to 50 technical credits).
  • Soft skills 15 credits.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • The ability to work independently and /or with minimum supervision.
  • A valid code 08 driving licence and own reliable vehicle is a requirement for doing the job.
