Introduction
Our manufacturing Client, based in Durban, is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities
Provisional travel - servicing existing accounts and growing portfolio (new business

development).

Achievement of monthly sales targets.

Overall responsibility for end-to-end sales process, including quotations, order management, delivery schedules, after-sales service.

Preparation and presentation of detailed activity reports.

Marketing of new products, recommendations and developing client-specific solutions.

Monitors competitor activity and feeding back to management.

Weekly and monthly reporting on sales performance and sales pipeline.

Implementation and execution of business sales strategies.

Develops solid relationships with all accounts; handling all queries and providing exceptional customer service.

Provides technical support / solutions to customers, in order to address their needs and strengthen future business opportunities.

Manages contract negotiations.

Ensures contract agreements are adhered to and expectations exceeded in terms of service delivery.

Attends sales workshops and hosts sales events for the business.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Tertiary qualification - advantageous

Experience in the manufacturing industry is essential

Solid sales track record.

A self-starter, keen, ambitious, and hungry to get results.

Relentless and experienced in reaching out to leads and generating sales.

Excellent verbal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
