Main responsibilities

Ensure effective, safe operations by implementing operational procedures and policies
Supervise daily the DFC team
Oversee receiving, warehousing and delivery operations for DFC activities including inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service
Schedule the team and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
Inspect racking, IT equipment, tools, and machinery regularly and oversee general maintenance when necessary
Meet regularly with other warehouse leads to improve productivity and develop action plans to reduce loss prevention
Liaise effectively with the Suppliers, Head of Departments, Planners and other counterparts in Supply Chain
Build and maintain relationship with Service Providers
Any other Adhoc duties assigned

Profile

Matric or NQF 4 Equivalent qualification
Three or more years of experience in a warehouse role managing hourly employees
Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
Excellent problemsolving skills and leadership qualities
Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal
High attention to detail and performance and deadline orientation
Strong ability to function in a highpressure environment
Excellent planning, organizing and time management skills
A selfmotivated, solutionsoriented individual
A team player who is able to build relationships quickly
A customer centric, data driven individual with a proven ability to have delivered best practice results
