Main responsibilities
- Ensure effective, safe operations by implementing operational procedures and policies
- Supervise daily the DFC team
- Oversee receiving, warehousing and delivery operations for DFC activities including inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service
- Schedule the team and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
- Inspect racking, IT equipment, tools, and machinery regularly and oversee general maintenance when necessary
- Meet regularly with other warehouse leads to improve productivity and develop action plans to reduce loss prevention
- Liaise effectively with the Suppliers, Head of Departments, Planners and other counterparts in Supply Chain
- Build and maintain relationship with Service Providers
- Any other Ad-hoc duties assigned

Profile
- Matric or NQF 4 Equivalent qualification
- Three or more years of experience in a warehouse role managing hourly employees
- Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
- Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal
- High attention to detail and performance and deadline orientation
- Strong ability to function in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent planning, organizing and time management skills
- A self-motivated, solutions-oriented individual
- A team player who is able to build relationships quickly
- A customer centric, data driven individual with a proven ability to have delivered best practice results
