Tracker requires the services of a Compliance and Investigations Manager, in the critical services department based our Head Office in Johannesburg.

The incumbent will be responsible for comply with applicable legislation, identify and minimize operational risks.

Operational Strategy Formulation and Implementation Provides input into strategic decisions and reduce non-compliance risks and possible violationsProvide strategic decisions to Critical Services functionKey liaison with external law enforcement bodies (through insights and expertise)Ensures Tracker's operations are compliant with relevant industry bodiesEnsures that Tracker is compliant with relevant regulations and lawsPromotes and monitors compliance with the Tracker Code of Business Conduct and associated policiesProviding summary reports; participating in key meetings; and assisting with coordination of risk assessment and providing triage on investigation matters.

Report back to the Head of Critical Services, COO and EXCO on the progress of investigations and take proactive corrective measures where required.

Plan and execute investigations following approved company policies and processes, whilst adhering to relevant laws.
Write high quality reports for an audience of leaders in the organization up to and including the Executive Committee. Assume responsibility for all activities and initiatives related to the recovery of motor vehicles.

Assigns investigations to professional employees and ensures that employees follow approved investigations proceduresAssume responsibility for preparing properly documented Critical Services investigations documentsResponsible for formulating investigations SOPsResponsible for responding to all risk events in a timely and professional manner and measuring and monitoring these according to quality and performance standards.

Establish quality and performance standards for the Critical Services division and measure adherence to them continuously.
Ensure the optimal allocation of resources to meet performance, quality, and customer requirements.
Ensure the implementation of formal processes to support the recovery service and all other relevant services.
Anticipate and respond to any major product changes or issues that may arise.
Responsible for the development, measurement and monitoring of installation performance and quality.

Assume responsibility for the setting of service standards applicable to the Critical Services division that foster a customer centric environment.

Cultivate an operational service that embraces and relies on the proper use of data insights and relevant statistics to drive continuous improvement across the division.

Facilitate relevant and regular management report meetings with relevant stakeholder divisions to provide detailed feedback to the EXCOResponsible for the negotiation or approval of relevant contracts or agreements with operational suppliers, distributors, state agencies, or any other relevant stakeholders on behalf of Tracker and Critical Services Stakeholder Engagement Provide for the creation and maintenance of mutually beneficial relationships with all relevant external stakeholders by ensuring that all partner obligations are met, and expectations exceededResponsible for continuously scanning the environment for potential opportunities to grow the Tracker business in line with stakeholder expectations.

Successfully navigate the complexities of changing conditions as they relate to key partners functioning in different locations and being subjected to different regulations.

Develop key relationships between Tracker and key partners (SAPS, SANDF, Zonke-Unicode etc.) to ensure that the operational deployment of Tracker technology and Tracker's supporting actions provide customers with a market leading recovery rate.

Build and manage professional and effective law enforcement liaison and response teams and oversee all related processes.

Provide intelligent data on recoveries and responses and communicate this to the engineering and product development teams to improve processes.

Act as a direct link between Tracker and key partners, ensuring effective communication and management of expectations.

Ensure effective cross-functional Tracker relationships through sharing of relevant information to assist all divisions in the achievement of their objectives.

Prepare a complete and optimised budget for the Compliance and Investigations divisionResponsible for the successful achievement of all financial targets and goals within budget.

Responsible for managing the divisional budget so that overall costs remain within the total divisional budget.
Ensure adherence to the financial authorities contained in the current Delegation of Authority regulations.
Cultivate financial management practices across the division.

Assume responsibility of implementing divisional level standard practices, policies, and procedures to govern the successful consideration and implementation of relevant new business ventures and opportunities.

People Management Helps develops compliance and investigations trainingTake on responsibility or the implementation of targets, performance management, and the required cascading of performance objectives to drive operational success.

Responsible for the leadership and development of all staff within the Critical Services division.
Responsible for constantly maintaining a professional environment.
Apply knowledge, seek assistance, assign resources, and apply judgement to resolve people related problems effectively.

Responsible for setting an example for all senior leaders and staff by living the values and the brand of Tracker every day.

Be responsible for sharing best practices, strategies, and initiatives with the interest of ensuring success across all functions within Tracker.

Maintain a continuous focus on improving overall productivity throughout the Critical Services division.
Assume responsibility for creating an environment where staff are developed, engaged, and successfully retained.
Responsible for guiding the determination of staffing requirements and overseeing all personnel processes for the Operations division, incl. performance management, mentoring, coaching, recruitment, engagement etc.
