JOB TITLE: Business Development and Sales Representative
Welcome to our team As a Business Development and Sales Representative, your main mission is to bring in new business and sales, while also nurturing our existing client accounts. The role involves setting and upholding SLA's for current and prospective clients and suppliers, in addition to preparing relevant management reports.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new business and sales
- Maintain existing client accounts
- Create and uphold SLA's
- Compile management reports
Requirements:
- Matric qualification
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain/Logistics/Management (preferred)
- 15+ years experience in new business development and sales
- Numeracy, computer literacy, and data analysis skills
- Project management experience
- WMS experience (advantageous)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in freight, clearing, forwarding, and various types of cargo
Kindly note that flexibility is key for this role. The ideal candidate should be prepared to put in extra hours when needed, including weekends and evenings. Travelling may be required across different regions and potentially internationally.
