Opportunity Available Our well known client in the FMCG Sector is looking to employ a Laboratory Analyst to join their dynamic team in East London.

Compile recipes and formulations and specifications.

-
Maintain all documents
***:
-
Fetch samples from tanks, factory filling and crating to conduct laboratory tests; flow bins
***:
-
Ensure internal and external samples and swabs are tested in-house and externally by an accredited laboratory for verification
***:
-
Compile monthly sampling/testing
***:
-
Ensure that there is a system whereby the release or blocking of the finished product is in place
***:
-
Ensure that there is sufficient samples taken for Chemistry analysis; Microbiological analysis; Sensory analysis as well as Keeping Quality Samples (Laboratory Keeping Quality Fridge)

Perform Chemistry analysis on Raw product Samples: BF, Protein, Lactose, SNF, FDA, Density, Acidity, pH, Phosphatase, Alizarol
***
Job Requirements:***-
Post matric 3year qualification in microbiology, chemistry, or food technology
***:
-
At least 2years experience in food or beverage environment in laboratory
***:
-
Ability to run the foods safety system
***:
-
Must have attention to detail
***:
-
Ability to communicate with others
