The role:


Join a dynamic team at KAO Salon Division, where we focus on building and expanding the success of renowned brands like Goldwell and KMS.

As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets, fostering long-term partnerships with salon owners, and contributing to the continuous growth of our brand portfolio.


What you will do:

  • Collaborate with salon owners to achieve sales targets and establish mutually beneficial growth paths for longterm success.
  • Conduct regular consultations with salon owners, employing negotiation techniques to ensure optimal support for our brands.
  • Monitor market and competitor activities, providing valuable feedback to the SME team.
  • Organize and conduct product introduction training for new salons, with a focus on driving new distribution objectives through lead creation and followup.
  • Manage customer services by implementing followup procedures and quality checks.
  • Act as an ambassador for the Global KAO Salon Division, adhering to the "Go To Market Strategy."
  • Execute a monthly call cycle, targeting 12 calls per day to ensure consistent communication and support.
  • Handle customers' clients, identify and resolve concerns, and promote the total portfolio of master brands.
  • Present and sell company services and products to both new and potential customers.
  • Maintain a businesslike appearance and convey knowledge of current styles and trends.
  • Communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans.
  • Complete and submit sales reports as per company standards to your manager.
  • Provide sales insights to the education team to foster collaborative, crossfunctional expertise sharing.

What you need:

  • Sales qualifications preferable.
  • Grade 12 Senior Certificate.
  • Excellent communication and selling skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Business acumen.
  • Friendly and teamoriented individual.
  • Selfmotivated and targetdriven.
  • Committed and passionate.
  • Confidence, friendliness, helpfulness, and politeness are essential.
  • Strong selfstarter with an eagerness to learn.
