Responsibilities:

  • Implement AMESAwide Procurement vision, mission and strategy in the WECA Foods BU (in close collaboration with AMESA S&P Lead / CPO and PepsiCo stakeholders in WECA)
  • Ensure business continuity through Supplier Relationship management, commodity Risk management, & supply security of needed materials (Packaging, Raw Material & Indirects including Logistics services (3PL) and MRO, )
  • Colead with Sector S&P and cross functional stakeholder WECA localization programs to reduce imported materials and step change payment in local currencies
  • Implement PEP+ agenda across WECA
  • Plan and monitor WECA S&P procurement annual and longterm strategic targets
  • Plan and monitor productivity objectives for S&P procurement in WECA
  • Lead improvement initiatives in procurement in the WECA
  • Select and prioritize strategic sourcing initiatives across categories in scope
  • Align stakeholders on category decisions; facilitate achievements of sector S&P targets and goals within the markets
  • Development of purchasing contracts and agreements (ultimate responsibility for the contracts) for categories in scope of the WECA category teams
  • Support negotiations of important contracts as well as developments with key suppliers
  • Sell Procurement to business stakeholders; represent (on the WECA level) S&P internally and externally; promote ideas of (a) segregation of strategic, tactical and operational procurement and (b) joint strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Identify requirements for change management and actively implement them
  • Recruit, develop and manage the WECA S&P team (in close collaboration with AMESA S&P Lead)
  • Supervise and manage direct reports; plan, develop and mentor S&P staff in WECA
  • Ensure that PepsiCo WECA purchases all products/ services at the most competitive prices/ best value
  • Ensure that best in class processes, procedures and tools for sourcing and request to purchase are implemented
  • Liaise with capability & governance to support sharing of bestpractices in AMESA
  • Align with S&P AMESA Lead to define, design, implement and monitor parameters and main metrics for the WECA ensuring effectiveness and efficiency of S&P (in the WECA)

Qualifications:

  • Procurement professional (CIPS or equivalent)
  • Degree in Business Management, Finance and/or Purchasing and/or Accounting or relevant Procurement Operations experience. Advanced Degrees (Masters) preferred
  • Multilingual is a plus
  • Proven results delivering significant business change within a fastpaced cross functional matrix environment
  • Very high level of business acumen must be commercially & organizationally savvy and financially astute
  • Outstanding communication skills, ability to influence at all levels and comfortable managing conflict
  • Proven Sourcing, Procurement & SC project leadership/management skills
  • Strong process thinker committed to driving process efficiency
  • Capability builder ability to build functional teams from scratch & empower diverse crossfunctional project teams
  • Deep operating knowledge of how to manage large scale initiatives
  • Deep knowledge of PepsiCo's Operating Model, BUY/Make/Move/Sell capability
  • Skilled in managing across a dispersed team of business stakeholders; strong selling skills enabling interaction with senior management internal & external
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills excellent negotiator and strong communication and influencing skills to all organizational levels and particularly at executive level. Proven track record of successful change management
  • Managing ambiguity redefine a complex, current operating model and bringing together teams with different perspectives and lead to conclusions towards one, common future way of working
  • Proven project management skills and ability to resolve issues and drive convergence in policies and processes
