The incumbent must have Clothing Industry Technical experience with sound administrative and coordination skills, having worked in a similar environment.


Duties and Responsbilities:

  • Conduct product quality inspections at the Distribution Centre, according to AQL standards
  • Influence and assist to drive quality improvement processes and projects
  • To ensure the conformance to Company's standard for quality across the brands
  • Drive proactive behaviour and early quality issue detection
  • Investigate and implement counter measures for continual quality improvement
  • Prepare and manage quality documentation
  • Communicate and liaise with internal and external customers

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications Required:

  • Grade 12 / Matric Qualification
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification
  • Must have at least 2 years Quality Controller Examiner Experience
  • Must have at least 2 years Quality Control experience in a similar environment (Clothing/Distribution Centre)
  • Indepth knowledge and experience in garment construction
  • High level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Good interpersonal skills and service orientation
  • Good problem solving and decision making ability
  • Be assertive and practical team player with a strong ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Attention to Details Orientated
  • Clear criminal record
