About the Role:


The Commercial Assistant will be responsible for a range of administrative, secretarial and support functions to assist the Commercial Business - Sales and Marketing, with their day-to-day activities.

This role reports directly to the Sales Director, South Africa & Anglophone Africa.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for the planning, preparation and coordination of workshops, functions, trainings, and conferences;
  • Receive and process Commercial invoices for payment;
  • Manage, coordinate, and distribute marketing promotional material;
  • Manage courier services, as well as internal and external mail;
  • Update and maintain all Commercial documents, contracts and data;
  • Provide administrative support to the Sales Director and Management team;
  • Responsible for meeting scheduling, coordination and providing administrative support;
  • Assist with travel and accommodation arrangements.
  • Manage the order placement and distribution of goods. I.e. corporate gifts, stationery and office items.
  • Support with ad hoc projects, tender sample packing and allround activity requirements.

Who You Are:

  • Must have matric and preferably a post matric qualification in related field. I.e. Sales & Marketing or Administration ;
  • Minimum 3 years' administration and assistance experience in a similar role;


 Excellent computer skills
  • Microsoft package experience is essential, and SAP knowledge;
  • Must be an excellent communicator (written, verbal and listening) and be able to engage in a professional manner with internal and external stakeholders at all levels;
  • Must be able to work independently and be a team player,
  • Must be able to work under pressure, with strong prioritizing and organization skills;
  • Must be able to multitask, work with attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Must be fluent in English.
