Job Description:

  • The Impact Modelling function within the Inclusive Procurement team is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a broad impact monitoring and evaluation framework that speaks to the impact Anglo American Supply Chain has in the communities around our operations. Further, support is regularly needed on ad hoc impact modelling requests at both Group and Business level to which the Impact Modelling team will provide support were possible.

Your duties will include:

  • Provide support to the Inclusive Procurement function in its delivery of key objectives as part of the Supply Chain business strategy.
  • Contribute to team projects and activities, both within the broader Inclusive Procurement team as well as in the Impact Modelling team.
  • Develop and maintain the Inclusive Procurement Theory of Change and Monitoring & Evaluation framework
  • Develop and deploy primary data collection methods
  • Identify and maintain access to secondary data
  • Develop the annual Inclusive Procurement Impact report
  • Provide input into the quarterly Inclusive Procurement report
  • Provide input into the monthly Impact Modelling report.

Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate qualification
  • Bachelor degree level or equivalent and proven track record of extensive practical experience in a role and context of similar complexity

Experience and Technical Knowledge

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks for medium to large organisations
  • Knowledge and experience in socioeconomic development
  • Ability and proven experience in leading the development of a Theory of Change
  • Ability and proven experience in leading the development of a Monitoring and Evaluation framework
  • Ability and proven experience in utilizing tools such as Excel, PowerBI, etc to manage large data sets and develop reports
  • Ability to develop primary data collection tools (surveys, focus groups, etc)
  • Ability to compile reports and presentations on findings
