Fleet Mechanic to join their team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Have a minimum of 23 years of experience in a similar role
  • Have a proven track report of doing maintenance, troubleshooting problems, adjust, overhaul and maintain mobile heavyduty equipment used in transportation
  • Have knowledge of the transport industry
  • Must have a vehicle & valid drivers' license
  • Be willing to work overtime as per operational requirements
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong ability to multitask
  • Comfort working with multiple groups within business
  • Be willing to work long hours & weekends when required

Key Performance Areas:

  • Establish and maintain business standards for accuracy, productivity and reliability
  • Manage the daily functions of the workshop
  • Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed
  • Management of the assets under your control and the meeting of objectives set by management
  • Ensuring that all vehicles are serviced within the allowed service intervals
  • Maintaining of a high level of discipline, within the workshop
