Job Responsibilities:
Promotes ODL researchParticipates in curriculum related community engagement and/or research-related community engagementMentors young upcoming researchersParticipates voluntarily in University structures/committees on various levelsPeer reviews articles and booksIs involved with professional, national and international bodies/boards that are related to his/her discipline expertiseDetermines own developmental path to become a National Research Foundation (NRF) rated scientist

Job Requirements:

At least 3 (three) years teaching/research/work experience with a strong focus in the fields of specialisation in Marketing and Retail Management.

For applicants in academia – Must have supervised a postgraduate student to completion.
A Doctoral degree at NQF level 10 in Marketing Management/Marketing Communication or cognate field.

A research reflection and portfolio, evidence of the research (articles, research reports).For applicants outside academia – Evidence of the research (articles, research reports, supervision of postgraduate students or any other research activity).

Must have produced 3 (three) research output points in the last 3 (three) years OR 5 (five) research output points in the last 5 (five) years in accredited journalsJob Details:
