Job Description:

  • As Collection Resource Coordinator you will assist Hub colleagues to articulate information requirements and communicate these to Collection teams. The post holder will help Collection teams to submit information in a form that can quickly be exploited by the Hub and will help ensure any retasking of Collection teams is actioned promptly.

The focus for this role will be to:

  • To manage and coordinate day to day liaison with Collection teams to articulate Hub requirements, establish whether they are achievable and ensure that information gaps are understood
  • To ensure the allocation of operational effort by the Collection teams is aligned with Hub requirements, and to identify and remedy any divergence
  • To monitor enhancements to Collection capability and to identify new opportunities for Collection solutions to Hub information requirements
  • To champion Hub capabilities to Collection teams and to seek opportunities for the Hub to support the expansion of the range, quality and quantity of Collection outputs
  • To help Hub colleagues draft information requirements
  • To train and advise Collection teams on the preparation of threat information reports
  • Provide surge support for other Hub functions as required

This role is in the Security department at a Band 6 level reporting to the Threat Information Hub Manager.
**Qualifications

  • You will be required to have**:
  • Related NQF 7 Bachelors' degree /B Tech / Advanced diploma OR Other relevant qualifications or knowledge

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

  • Strong communication skills, written and oral (Essential)
  • Strong team working and interpersonal skills (Essential)
  • Computer literacy (Essential)
  • Knowledge/previous experience in a role collecting and using security and threat information collection (Essential)
