Job Overview

  • Oversees product development procedures to guarantee adherence to quality and efficiency standards. Collaborates with stakeholders and crossfunctional teams to ensure compliance with quality regulations, particularly ISO 9001._

Primary Focus

  • Preparing and implementing quality control policies and procedures.
  • Gaining an understanding of the client's needs and requirements and communicating them and the quality standards to the production teams.
  • Performing routine inspections and quality tests. Identifying and resolving workflow and production issues.
  • Devising ways to improve the manufacturing process to ensure higherquality goods. Ensuring that standards and safety regulations are observed.
  • Ensuring legal obligations are followed and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and with health and safety guidelines.
  • Addressing and discussing issues and proposed solutions with key stakeholders and cross functional teams.
  • Documenting quality control activities and creating audit reports.
  • Making recommendations for improvement.
  • Creating training materials and operating manuals. Setting the requirements for raw materials from suppliers and monitoring their compliance.
  • Supervising inspectors, technicians, and other staff members and providing guidance.
  • Overseeing product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards. Inspecting the final output, comparing it to the requirements, and approving or rejecting the final products.
  • Keeping accurate documentation and performing statistical analysis.
  • Gaining feedback from the clients, attending meetings, submitting reports, and assisting external auditors and inspectors

Minimum Requirements

  • BTech / Degree in Quality Management
  • Previous experience in successfully implementing ISO 9001 standards.
  • Strong attention to detail, observation, organisational, and leadership skills. Indepth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards.
  • Strong knowledge of mathematics, data analysis, and statistical methods.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Good technical and IT skills.

Salary:
R18 749,7- R30 000,00 per month
